Operation Smile Canada - Summer Match 2018

Chanel was born prematurely in South Africa with a severe cleft lip and cleft palate. She needed surgery, but her parents couldn’t afford it.

Then, thanks to you and other caring Canadians, a volunteer medical team in South Africa was able to give Chanel the surgery she needed.

Today, she’s a happy, healthy 10-year-old who’s doing well in school and has big hopes for the future!
